Grid 2 at The Gaming Den

GRID was nothing short of critically acclaimed and many are looking forward to the release of the upcoming sequel, GRID 2. You’ll be pleased to hear that The Gaming Den is hosting an event where you’ll get to play the game early, as well as compete for a chance to win some great prizes. If you want to ease the wait for GRID 2’s release, there’s no better place to be. Why not give the gameplay trailer a look over? (if you want to).

Everyone attending will be able to burn some rubber. Huge projectors will be showing the game off in glorious detail, so even just watching will be a joy. Dive straight into the action with everyone else in a classic race, or get a taster of GRID 2’s varied multiplayer modes. Elimination will see you fighting to stay ahead as stragglers are gradually removed from the race, while Checkpoint will have you going even faster to beat the clock.

Be sure to brush up on your racing skills because you will also be able to compete for a chance to win a prize! Set the fastest lap time on the Red Bull Ring course, and you’ll be rewarded with a signed copy of GRID 2 for whatever available platform you please, along with a few other goodies. Tensions will surely run high as seconds are shaved off the record over the course of the event. The winner could be you.

Food, drinks and cocktails will be available as usual at The Gaming Den, served up by Loading’s James Dance. In the retro room you’ll also be able to play the old classic Codemasters game, Micro Machines V3.

The event will take place on the 4th May, and will last from 2PM to 11PM. The Gaming Den can be located at the Visual Collective, 10 Vyner Street, London E2 9DG. Tickets can be purchased for £5 online at or for £6 on the door.
